Sewa Gram Mahila Haat (SGMH) is the apex state level rural marketing organization of women entrepreneurs and producer groups promoted by SEWA and its district associations.

SGMH is determined to empower self-employed women and women employed in small, unregistered enterprises and informal jobs without security, worker benefits and social protection; by providing them the platform to equip them for their income security, food security and social security.

Considering SEWA’s member base of over 14,00,000 lac rural women in across 12 states of India, we formed SEWA Gram Mahila Haat in the year 1999 with the objective to promote small producers’ groups in relevant trade skills and make them self-reliant.

Our association is with small & marginal farmers, food processors, garment manufacturers, handloom weavers, handicraft artisans and salt farmers. Avail Skill Management and Leadership Training from Gramhaat. Get financial assistance to strengthen the business.

SGMH facilitates these women entrepreneurs and woman producer groups to become owner and managers instead of remaining just producers.

With this objective we look forward to extend our services to many more sisters to build an economic self-reliant network.
