SEWA Gram Mahila Haat (SGMH) is a rural marketing organization of small women producer groups has been promoted by SEWA in 1999 and registered as a charitable trust. The trustees of SGMH are the women producer’s group leaders and they are the stakeholders.
The objective of SGMH is to provide direct marketing linkages of rural women producers and farmers by forming producer groups. SGMH will also provide capacity building for entrepreneurs, Business management, and technology training using modern technology to sustain the producer’s groups. SGMH has been completed for 16 years and promoted 10000 producers groups so far.
SGMH is also undertaking consultancy services of setting up a Trade Facilitation center along with the capacity building of members from 12 states in India and in SAARC countries, including organizing exposure visits and feasibility studies of producer groups. SGMH is an expert in the following subjects along with capacity building on setting up trade facilitation centers, business management & institutional management.
